1st Set: Bivolita Klezmer Ensemble
Kick off the festival with an energetic and joy-filled klezmer performance led by acclaimed accordionist Christina Crowder and her four-piece ensemble. With clarinet, trumpet, accordion, drums, and infectious rhythm, this upbeat set is designed to get toes tapping and spirits lifted - a celebration of Jewish music, culture, and simcha that audiences of all ages can enjoy.
2nd Set: Jon Madof Trio
Experience an electrifying blend of jazz, rock, and Jewish musical soul with the Jon Madof Trio - the newest project from the acclaimed guitarist and composer known for his work with John Zorn and as founder of the groundbreaking bands Zion80 and Rashanim.
Described by The New York Times as “a truly soulful experience,” Madof’s music blends avant-garde and experimental jazz, post-rock, punk energy, and improvisation into a sound that is both deeply moving and wildly dynamic. The trio creates an immersive live performance that feels powerful, emotional, and completely unique - modern music infused with a deep Jewish spirit.
